C. About BIS Association
MIT has an MoU with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The BIS Club and departmental standards clubs promote awareness and application of standards through academic and industry-oriented activities. Different BIS-related programmes are conducted for students and faculty, including workshops, awareness drives, expert sessions, industrial visits, and standardization-related case studies.
